Wellness Wednesday: Breakfast Smoothie

Hey Glam Fam, Happy Wellness Wednesday!

Today I’d like to share with you a very yummy, healthy concoction for you to make at home, full of green fruits, vegetables and fat free dairy so if you are dieting you can enjoy it guilt free. This refreshing smoothie can be made a day ahead and keeps for 24 hours in the fridge.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Large ripe avocado

1 cup honeydew melon chunks

1/2 lime, juiced (1 1/2 tsp lime juice)

1 cup 8oz fat free milk

1cup plain fat free yogurt

1/2 cup 100% apple juice or white grape juice

1 tablespoon honey

DIRECTIONS:

1) Cut avocado in half, remove pit

2) Scoop put flesh and place in blender

3) Add remaining ingredients and blend well

4) Serve cold and enjoy!

You can serve this with a nice piece of whole wheat toast or English muffin, or make ahead of time and have ready to pour in your tumbler and go.
