Hey everyone! I have finally found my holy grail lip product. Can you believe it? It only took 30 years, lol. Well okay, that’s not entirely true. When I was in my twenties, I used to wear a lip stick called Vixen from Revlon colorstay. It was the best lip color ever, for my skin tone and it lasted forever.
And when I say forever, I mean after a night of drinking and tripping on acid, raving, going to Denny’s and eating early in the morning into the next day, forever.
Loved that color. This was the 90s vibe personified. Don’t let them convince you we all wore nude lips. No we did not, I was there.
So anyway back to the current year. After wasting many dollars on a bunch of lip colors that reside in a drawer that I never reach for because they look like crap or dry my lips out, I have found my product.
What do you know, it’s Revlon again! It is
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid and the color I love is Premium Pink.
This lip color goes on wet like a gloss, but dries exactly where you put it. So if your lip game is strong, you will be happy. I wouldn’t suggest putting this on if your hands are shaking or you’re in a car or something.
It takes makeup remover to get this stuff off, but isn’t that the point of color stay makeup?

Below is when I first put it on and the end of the night after eating, drinking, etc. keep in mind too, that I take two medications a day that dries my skin and lips out. They are always slightly chapped in the evening because I don’t drink enough water.
You can see there is still an outline and a little color left. That’s pretty good in my opinion. Also this lipstick does not make my lips dry at all, so that’s a huge plus in my book.
