Hey glam fam! I’m posting about perfume again. Only this time, I’m giving you my personal favorite choices for perfumes to give this Valentine’s Day.
What girl doesn’t love perfume? Well, if you’re like me, you LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVVVVVEE perfume. The only thing I love more than buying perfume, is getting a perfume as a gift. It always tells me something about the person who chooses to give a fragrance. How they see you, what they like, even how much they know you, all can be detected by the perfume a person gives you.
While I can’t choose for you, I can give you my personal picks that I feel scream Valentine’s Day and that are also safe bets for a decent amount of money.
First one is Pink Sugar. Aquolina’s Pink Sugar is a spun cotton candy dream with a licorice twist. imagine being at the fair on a freezing cold night. You smell a warm burnt sugar in the breeze and imagine the candy floss on your tongue. This is that perfume. Men love this on ladies and I think it’s one of the best choices for a Valentine scent.
Next up, another Aquolina frag. Pink Sugar Sensual. This is another sweet candy-esque scent only there’s a citrus note on first spray that settles down into a black current wave of sweetness. A more mature Pink Sugar and a safe bet for all women as it smells a lot like the very famous Britney Spears Fantasy which most women like. Except, Sensual is a little more sultry than Fantasy and the bottle is nicer, in my opinion.
How about a more delectable fragrance? Search no more than La Nuit Tresor by Lancôme.
This sexy gourmand will make anyone around you want to take a bite out of you possibly. It’s truly one of those perfumes that smell like baked goodies. The top notes are: Pear, Tangerine, Bergamot. The middle notes are: Vanilla, Orchid, Passionfruit, Black Rose and Strawberry and the base notes are: Praline, Caramel, Litchi, Patchouli, Vanilla, Incense, Coffee, Licorice, Coumarin and Papyrus.
Quite the warm spicy type and the bottle is luxurious. A beautiful scent. Lancôme rarely misses.
My next choice is Mi Amor XOXO. It’s another sweet, fruity gourmand and the bottle is just made for Valentine’s Day. This is an inoffensive knock off Pink Sugar without the burnt note and instead of licorice, you get raspberries with a hint of orange. Yum!
My last pick is one of my all time favorite perfumes of all time. A holy grail, must have in my collection always and that is Prada’s Candy.
This soft beauty is a truly unique sweet scent. A mix of caramel, vanilla and baby powder. I absolutely love this one. I wear it to bed as I feel it is comforting scent. One that makes you feel innocent and sexy at the same time. The notes are: Caramel, Vanilla, Powdery Notes, Benzoin and Musk. That pretty much is exactly what this smells like. Can be enjoyed at any age and is well worth the price. A fave!
Well my dear hearts, those are my picks for you to buy your sweetheart or buy yourself a Valentine’s Day gift. Why not? Remember what Whitney said: The greatest love of all is found inside of you. So treat yourself. You deserve it.
