Hey glam fam, I recently took the plunge and went all over bleach blonde from root to tip from my tired ol highlighted hair. I love the result and I just wanted to show you all what I used to bleach and tone my hair. And what the Wella Color Charm toner in Lightest Ash Blonde looks like on freshly bleached hair.
BEFORE: I had blonde highlights over a golden brown base. Keep in mind, my natural hair is a level 3 dark brown.
I used Wella lightening powder which is a bleach that lightens up to 7 levels, with 30 volume developer to reach a blonde that I could tone. You want the color to be the shade of inside a banana.
After toner sat on head for 30 minutes:
You can see that it toned it to a white silver. I had no purple tones whatsoever.

I really like this toner for a platinum or near platinum look. When it washes out, you’re left with a bright beachy blonde color that can easily be toned with a good purple shampoo. I highly recommend Wella products. I have never had my hair fall out or breakage with their products and I’ve been bleaching my hair for over 20 years.
